Captain Barnacles Bear is one of the main protagonist of Octonauts. He is captain of the Octopod.

Biography

Barnacles is the brave polar bear captain of the Octonauts. He can drive any ship or GUP and is strong enough to lift a giant clam!

Personality

Captain Barnacles is a very active polar bear, as he serves as the leader of the whole Octonauts crew. He is very kind, has a warm heart, and does his best to make everything right. At some points in few episodes, he is shown to be quite strict with his crew (especially Kwazii) if anything serious is happening or if people are not obeying his commands (however, this is only shown by Kwazii, who does not do it intentionally, but because he gets excited very easily). This just goes to show that he is a very reasonable captain and leader.

Looks

Captain Barnacles has white fur with a blue snout and grey nose. His earlobes are white while the insides are light blue. He is one of the tallest Octonauts.

His normal Octonauts uniform is a blue long-sleeved jumpsuit with regular blue boots. He's also always seen wearing his Octo-Compass on his belt, which falls crooked on the right side of his body. His blue hat is exclusive to him, a sign of his captain status.
