"Cubby's Pet Problem" is the second season and the second segment of the seventeenth episode in Jake and the Never Land Pirates. It is the Forty-second episode in the series overall.

Plot[]
On Pirate Island, the sea pups need Stormy's help with a map that leads to the Cave of Neptune. Stormy has heard legends that an amazing sea creature lives there, but no one's ever seen it.
Bucky goes underwater, and the crew deploys their own mini-subs. Suddenly, they hear a strange noise. The crew and Stormy follow it to the Cave of Neptune, and a baby sea serpent comes out. They think it is his mother who made the noise, and they name the baby Slink. Stormy hears Marina's "lunch bell", and leaves as the crew goes back to Pirate Island.
The crew are talking when Skully's crackers disappear. They look behind a chest to find Slink. They think he might have followed them home, and know they have to get him back to his mother. After a chase around the Hideout, Cubby uses a stick to get Slink's attention. When Captain Hook, who is spying on the sea pups, sees Slink, he wants to capture him for his new zoo. Sharky and Bones scoop up Slink in a net, and took him to the Jolly Roger. Cubby sneaks aboard after them and find Slink, but doesn't know how to let the crew know where he is. Slink poked holes into the "fetching stick", turning it into a flute for Cubby to play. On Pirate Island, the crew searches for Cubby and Slink, but they can't find them. But then they hear Cubby's flute music from the Jolly Roger, realizing that Cubby has to be there. Stormy hears the song too, and finds Cubby on the Jolly Roger. When Cubby tells Stormy what Hook is planning, she swims to get help. Hook believes that Slink will be the star beast of the zoo, but then Jake, Bucky, Skully and Izzy show up. Cubby rises up from below deck with Slink, and Hook says nothing would get him to stop the ship. Suddenly, they hear a loud THUD and the ship comes to a stop. It turns out to be Stormy, with Slink's Mother.
Hook tries to steer the Jolly Roger away from the sea serpent, but that just angers her. The sea serpent swims around the Jolly Roger, making it spin away. Meanwhile, Izzy uses pixie dust to fly, and get Slink and Cubby safely out of the Jolly Roger. Slink, his mother, and Stormy all swim away afterwards.
Later on in the Jolly Roger, Hook mourns over having no beasts for his zoo. Sharky and Bones try to cheer up Hook with the news that they found some beasts: Tick-Tock Croc and the Octopus, much to Hook's horror, as both beasts chase Hook around the ship to try to eat him.
