Henry Hugglemonster is an animated preschool show produced by DHX Media Treehouse TV Sony Pictures Animation Moody Street Kids Bandai BBC Audiovisual S.G.R Aardman, Spiffy Pictures and Walt DIsney. It is based on the book "I’m a Happy Hugglewug" created and illustrated by Niamh Sharkey.[1] It first premiered on April 15, 2013 on PBS Kids with a pilot episode came on April 5, 2013.
Its purpose is to encourage children to not be afraid of monsters.
