"Treasure of the Tides" is the second season and the second segment of the ninth episode in Jake and the Never Land Pirates. It is the Thirty-fourth episode in the series overall.

Summary[]
Marina, Stormy, and the other mermaids surprise Izzy by making her an honorary mermaid to celebrate the Treasure of the Tides ceremony. However, Captain Hook wants to steal the golden throne for himself. Now Izzy, Marina, Stormy, and the mermaids must stop him.
Plot[]
Izzy joins Marina, Stormy, and the mermaids to swim in the "Treasure of the Tides" ceremony at Hidden Cove, thanks to Marina and Stormy crafting a mermaid tail for her. Before swimming, Izzy entrusts her pixie dust to Jake, Cubby, and Skully, who are trekking to the cove on foot. Jake asks Marina which mermaid is going to be honored this year, and Stormy explains it's a surprise. Marina tells Jake, Cubby, and Skully that they'll have to wait until tonight at Hidden Cove. All will be revealed at the turn of the tide. Izzy thanks Jake for taking care of her pixie dust while she swims with the mermaids, explaining it's no good if it gets wet. Jake, Cubby, and Skully set off, but unbeknownst to Izzy and her mermaid friends, Captain Hook is spying on them, plotting to steal the treasure for himself. He orders Mr. Smee to "step lively," but Smee clumsily bumps into Hook, sending him splashing into the water. This racket startles Izzy, Marina, and Stormy. Izzy confronts Hook, asking, "Are you spying so you can try to steal the Treasure of the Tides?" Hook declares he'll do more than try and vows to beat them to Hidden Cove and claim the treasure as his own. They realize they must stop him, or the ceremony will be ruined. Hook orders Sharky and Bones to barricade Mermaid Lagoon with the Jolly Roger, preventing Izzy and her friends from chasing after him and Smee. However, the two blundering pirates are no match for Lucille the Seal, who slips past them and enlists the help of two blue whales. The whales push the Jolly Roger aside, allowing Izzy and the mermaids to continue and catch up to Hook and Mr. Smee, earning them three gold doubloons.
As Captain Hook and Mr. Smee tried to stay ahead, a large school of seahorses blocked Hook's path. Hook then saw Izzy and the mermaids approaching and was shocked that they had exited Mermaid Lagoon. Mr. Smee informed the captain that the seahorses were gentle but easily startled, giving Hook the idea to use them to keep Izzy and the mermaids at bay. He frightened the creatures by blowing into a shell, sending them swimming toward Izzy and the mermaids. However, Izzy, Marina, Stormy, and the other mermaids sang a lullaby to calm the seahorses. For calming the seahorses, they earned three more gold doubloons.
Hook and Smee arrived at Hidden Cove to find the Treasure of the Tides, a golden throne rising from the water, and attempted to pry it from the rock. Izzy and the mermaids tried to stop Hook by splashing him with their tails, but it was no use.
Luckily, Jake, Cubby, and Skully arrived at Hidden Cove just in time with Izzy's pixie dust. Jake tossed the pouch to Izzy, and she caught it. She sprinkled some on herself and the mermaids, and then she tossed the pouch back to Jake. They flew around and around in a circle, creating a massive cyclone and sending Hook and Smee far, far away.
For saving the throne and stopping Captain Hook, they earned four more gold doubloons. The mermaids decided to make Izzy an honorary mermaid. Later that night, Izzy was crowned "Honorary Mermaid of the Year."
