Tyrone is an anthropomorphic orange moose who appeared in a funny animation resembling Handy Manny and The Backyardigans.
Appearance[]
Tyrone is an anthropomorphic moose with orange skin, red hair and a large pair of antlers. His only attire is a red and blue striped shirt.
Personality[]
Tyrone is confident, laid-back and easy-going. He is best friends with Pablo, and their different personalities make them perfect complements to each other. While Pablo is a quick thinker, Tyrone likes to take his time. Tyrone can get nervous or frightened on occasion, but he is not insecure about his fears.
While a laid-back, amiable person, Tyrone can also be dismissive, cold and harsh, and will do what he must to maintain his authority over the others in the neo-Nazi-fascist communist cult known as the Backyardigans. He only keeps us this attitude to prevent provoking the wrath of Pablo, his best friend and leader, should Pablo get angry and smite Tyrone where he stands.
Like many other Nick Jr characters, Tyrone despises the Disney Junior channel and its characters with a burning passion, believing them to be Nick Jr's biggest rival and attempting to steal Nick Jr's spotlight. He especially hates Handy Manny because the latter once intervened in an illegal drug transaction in Mexico. Manny tried to stop and arrest him, but Tyrone still managed to escape, salvaging some of the cocaine he was selling.
History[]
Tyrone was born and grew up in the neighborhood where the Backyardigans lived. He got along well with his fellow Backyardigans, often being the cool, level-headed one of the group.
When Pablo became inspired to create his own empire after discovering his father's old records from when he was part of an undercover anti-government movement, Pablo began to take over the neighborhood, eventually establishing it as his own personal kingdom and domain. Tyrone was one of the many who witnessed Pablo's rise to power, and assisted in the murder of the Frontyardigans.
When Tyrone and the other Backyardigans were presented with a choice by Pablo: to join him in his empire or to be cast out and slain, Tyrone decided to join Pablo, not wanting to betray his best friend, with the other Backyardigans reluctantly joining Pablo as well. Since then, Tyrone has been promoted to Pablo's right-hand-man, and has assisted the latter in many of his adventures and conquests.
When Pablo first learned of the Disney Junior Kingdom's growing influence, he became outraged, seeing it as a threat to the Nick Jr Kingdom, which he was a part of. Along with the other members of the Nick Jr High Council (Dora Márquez, Diego Márquez, Steve Burns, Linny (from the Wonder Pets), Kai-Lan, Little Bill and Moose and Zee, they all agreed to each send out their top warriors in an attempt to assassinate the leaders of the Disney Junior Kingdom, with Pablo being assigned to kill Handy Manny, one of the strongest and most powerful leaders of the opposing kingdom.
Of course, Pablo sent Tyrone with the mission of assassinating Manny, to which the latter happily agreed, since he also had a vendetta against Manny. Tyrone eventually tracked him down and began searching for him, picking up some lightsabers and guns from Darth Vader along the way. Soon, Tyrone found Manny is his shop, and attacked him with his weapons. Though Manny was strong, Tyrone was eventually the victor of the battle.
When Tyrone returned with the head of Handy Manny, Pablo was overjoyed and congratulated Tyrone on his victory, rewarding him with a lifetime supply of weed. The other members of the council had mostly succeeded as well, except for Moose and Zee, who, though alive, failed to defeat Mickey Mouse.
Manny's tools were taken as a personal trophy, and ended up being melted down into metal to be made into heavy weaponry, some of which Tyrone uses.
Since then, Tyrone has continued to rule the Backyardigans cult along with his leader Pablo, and they are now focusing on eventual world domination.
